And this is all from the creator of "Ghost Hunters"? Well, here's another example of a film from the category of passing: an incomprehensible plot, bad acting of actors. In general, do not understand what, and I watched it only because of Uma Thurman, as I am sure most did, since nothing more draws to this film.
After meeting beautiful Jenny Johnson, Matt Saunders thinks he has finally found the woman of his dreams. However, after making sure that she is a real superman in a skirt, Matt decides to part with her, especially since Jenny becomes too intrusive and demanding. But it turned out that breaking up with a female superman is not so easy. Feeling humiliated and insulted, Jenny uses all her supernatural abilities to not only put an end to Matt’s developing romance with his colleague Hannah, but also turn the life of her “ex” into a living hell.
One could add an extra ball to this film for being a simple romantic story with an angry girl dreaming of revenge on her former young man, but no. Decided to spoil everything here, for some reason giving the main character super powers? Well, why tell me. I don’t think it can be as relevant at all. In general, the story itself played too much, the main character is constantly crooked, somewhat reminiscent of Simon Pegg from the film How to Lose Friends and Make Everyone Hate You, but there was Simon Pegg, who played very well, but here. Even Uma Thurman was annoying, although she was, is and will remain my favorite actress.
In general, those who did not expect any new revelations in the genre of youth comedy, those film will not disappoint very much, but those who hoped for something, or wanted to have fun with friends, they will be disappointed, since the humor here is also flat. And this is what we see from Ivan Reitman, the creator of such a masterpiece as Ghostbusters. Something is clearly wrong. Original
